About the Toyota RAV4
The legendary Toyota RAV4 is engineered for excellence, as evidenced by its tremendous success as the best-selling non-pickup truck in the USA and the number-one-selling vehicle in the Toyota lineup. With the debut of its sixth generation, the RAV4 builds on its reputation with a rugged exterior design, ergonomically-equipped interior, and plenty of groundbreaking tech features to enhance your experience behind the wheel. Its already stellar track record for safety is further improved thanks to the revolutionary Toyota Safety Sense (TSS 4.0) suite of active driver-assist features. Another advantage of the RAV4 is its jaw-dropping efficiency, made possible by your choice of either a standard hybrid or an available plug-in hybrid drivetrain. A diverse range of trim levels including the off-road-focused Woodland and the track-inspired XSE make it simple to find a Toyota RAV4 that’s an outstanding match for your own personality.
What the Critics Say
“Rear-seat room and cargo space are crucial elements for any SUV, and the RAV4 offers plenty of both. Two adults fit comfortably in back, and squeezing a third person in for a short trip is doable. Our test vehicle also came with a long list of connectivity features and driver assists. Toyota even upped the towing capacity to 3500 pounds on certain configurations.” — Car and Driver
“The new RAV4 will be built in versions that lean into rugged adventure and sporty performance, but most trims just focus on small crossover essentials that the RAV4 has become nearly synonymous with. Passenger and cargo space appear ample, while the new-generation safety features and impressive digital displays are very much with the times.” — MotorTrend

Toyota RAV4 Features

Efficiency & Performance
For the first time in its history, the popular Toyota RAV4 is now available exclusively with your choice of hybrid-electric drivetrains. The standard option is the fifth-gen version of the Toyota hybrid powertrain, featuring a 2.5L inline-four-cylinder engine and two electric motors with a lithium-ion traction battery. Offered with your choice of FWD or available Electronic On-Demand AWD, this powertrain combines jaw-dropping efficiency with the capability you need to excel in all types of weather conditions. Four selectable drive modes (NORMAL, ECO, SPORT, and CUSTOM) also help you personalize your experience. For the ultimate in power and efficiency, RAV4 buyers can also upgrade to the sophisticated Gen 6 Toyota Plug-In Hybrid System to experience a combined 324 horsepower and an astounding all-electric driving range of up to 52 miles**. RAV4 PHEV variants also include an 11-kW onboard AC charger, a CCS1 charging port, and DC fast-charging capability that allows charging from 10% to 80% in approximately 30 minutes.

Premium Interior
Choosing the Toyota RAV4 means that you can take advantage of its ergonomic interior that’s equal parts stylish, versatile, and intuitively designed. The perfect companion for those living active lifestyles, the RAV4 includes standard fold-flat rear seats and the convenience of an available hands-free power liftgate for easy access to cargo. Upholstery options include premium cloth and the supple feel of luxurious SofTex / Brin Naub® Synthetic Suede for a truly upscale experience. Personalizing your temperature preferences is effortless thanks to available equipment like heated outboard rear seats, heated/ventilated front seats, and dual-zone automatic climate control. Other available interior amenities include a Qi-compatible wireless phone charging pad, a HomeLink-compatible rearview mirror, and a premium JBL audio system with superior sound quality. As you can see, the interior of the RAV4 is a true feast for the senses.

Technology & Safety
Connected technology features and life-saving safety innovations are two other advantages that come from driving a Toyota RAV4. Every RAV4 comes standard with the Toyota Audio Multimedia system featuring wireless Apple CarPlay® and Android Auto™ compatibility and simultaneous dual Bluetooth® phone connectivity. Display sizes range from a standard 10.5-inch unit to an available 12.9-inch touchscreen display, both of which sync seamlessly with its standard 12.3-inch Digital Gauge Cluster. Other standard highlights include its push button ignition system and 3 USB-C charging ports in the front row of seats. There’s also no substitute for the confidence and peace of mind made possible by standard Toyota Safety Sense 4.0. Examples of these innovative features include Full-Speed Range Dynamic Radar Cruise Control (DRCC), Automatic High Beams (AHB), Pre-Collision System with Pedestrian Detection (PCS w/PD), and Lane Departure Alert with Steering Assist (LDA w/SA).
