If you want a small SUV that won’t need too many trips to the fuel pump, buy or lease the new Toyota Corolla Cross or Corolla Cross Hybrid. This crossover replaces the C-HR in Toyota’s lineup, and Cleveland drivers will appreciate its quicker acceleration and larger cargo hold. Ken Ganley Toyota Akron has both the Corolla Cross and the Corolla Cross Hybrid in stock at our dealership, and we’re eager to show you how well both models perform.

Performance

The new Toyota Corolla Cross glides softly over broken pavement in Ellet because of its well-built torsion beam suspension. An optional multi-link rear suspension makes its ride even gentler. The Corolla Cross Hybrid has selectable drive modes that let you fine-tune its ride further. The new Corolla Cross comes standard with front-wheel drive, but all-wheel drive is available. The Corolla Cross comes standard with all-wheel drive for a stouter grip on slippery streets in Akron.

While the new Toyota Corolla Cross comes standard with a 169-horsepower four-cylinder engine, the Corolla Cross Hybrid’s powertrain uses a four-cylinder engine and three electric motors to generate 196 horsepower. Both models return good gas mileage, but Fairlawn drivers who want to cut their fuel costs will prefer the Corolla Cross Hybrid, which earns 45 mpg in the city and 38 mpg on the highway.

Interior Design

Take a seat in either the new Toyota Corolla Cross or the Corolla Cross Hybrid and you’ll have ample space to stretch out. They also both have uncluttered cockpits with easy-to-reach infotainment controls. People in Green, OH who take tons of luggage or sports gear on trips will appreciate that the new Corolla Cross has up to 66.8 cubic feet of cargo space. The Corolla Cross Hybrid has a slightly smaller cargo hold, at 61.8 cubic feet with the rear seats folded down.
